Planning the first episode of your soap

A teaching resource to help students create a title sequence for a soap opera. In groups, students decide on a title, scheduling, characters, settings, plot lines and themes. Suggested tasks also include creating a story board and writing a press release promoting the new soap opera to media organisations. A helpful grid for students to structure their first episode is also provided.
