A worksheet to help children understand how to use semi-colons to separate independent clauses. Children start by adding semi-colons to separate items in a list. They then complete their own sentences by adding a second clause and separating with a semi-colon. In the final task, children re-write longer passages and punctuate with semi-colons. This resource is suitable for children in year 6.
