Snakes and ladders – chemical and physical change

The game is perfect to play with Y7 students who are studying types of reactions at KS3. Students test their knowledge of physical and chemical changes by playing a snakes and ladders game. There are twenty squares on the board each with an example of a chemical or physical change. Play as a starter activity.

Players state whether the square that they land on refers to a chemical or physical change (miss a turn for a wrong answer!). Complete with an answer grid.
